Welcome to Holy Rood Bagworth

With the church at the centre.

The small congregation of Holy Rood Church now meet at Bagworth Community Centre for a Communion Service on the first Sunday each month.

Messy Church events, for all the family, take place at Christmas, Easter and Harvest, also at the Community Centre.  We meet to celebrate, make, explore and eat; children must be accompanied.  Further details are on the What's On page of this website.

The Churchyard at the top of the village, on Old School Lane, houses the War Memorial and an additional area is still open for interments.

For other service times in the Parish please see Thornton and Stanton-under-Bardon.

THE REALLY GOOD NEWS IS: that we are now holding church services in the churches in our Benefice.

A full risk assessment has been carried out by the church wardens and approved by the area dean and precautions are in place, varying at each venue.

Please wear facemasks. If that’s not possible, please contact your church warden in advance if possible.
