Welcome to Holy Rood Bagworth
With the church at the centre.
The small congregation of Holy Rood Church now meet at Bagworth Community Centre for a Communion Service on the first Sunday each month.
Messy Church events, for all the family, take place at Christmas, Easter and Harvest, also at the Community Centre. We meet to celebrate, make, explore and eat; children must be accompanied. Further details are on the What's On page of this website.
The Churchyard at the top of the village, on Old School Lane, houses the War Memorial and an additional area is still open for interments.
THE CHURCH AND COVID-19
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of 23rd March, the Archbishops have written to clergy in support of the measures, requiring that churches must now close both for private worship and public services.
Our church buildings are therefore now closed for public worship, private prayer and all other meetings and activities except for vital community services until further notice.
Where to find us
Holy Rood Church meets at Bagworth Community Centre, which is on Station Road. It has its own car park.
