Welcome to St. Mary & All Saints' Stanton Under Bardon
Jesus said, ‘I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except by me’.
We are a group of believers who wish to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Our Sunday services include prayer, hymns and songs of worship, monthly Holy Communion, talks, and readings from God’s word, the Bible.
We also have a more informal ‘something different’ Sunday once a month (please see the service listing). We hold seasonal fayres and musical concerts, which are well supported by the local community, and enable us to support a number of local and national charities.
Whether you are a believer or you are searching for faith, you will be made most welcome.
Regular Sunday services are held at St. Mary’s on most Sunday mornings at 10.30 a.m. However, please check the calendar for specific information.
(Click on the text for more information). Please also check our events page for details of forthcoming concerts and other events.
THE CHURCH AND COVID-19
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of 23rd March, the Archbishops have written to clergy in support of the measures, requiring that churches must now close both for private worship and public services.
Our church buildings are therefore now closed for public worship, private prayer and all other meetings and activities except for vital community services until further notice.
Where to find us
St. Mary's Church is on Main Street, opposite the School. There is a small car park. Additional car parking is available on Main Street.
