Welcome to St. Peter's Copt Oak

Welcome to St. Peter's Copt Oak. Situated on the edge of the Charnwood Forest, the church stands set back from the road behind the Copt Oak Inn.

It was built in 1837 to a design by Mr R.W Railton and is a Grade 2 listed building with its own churchyard. It has a ring of six bells and an active team of bellringers. Facilities include: kitchen, toilet, ample car park and ramp for wheelchair access. The Church Family at St Peter’s is a dedicated and enthusiastic group who generate a caring and friendly atmosphere. We are committed to sharing the Christian message within our local community and enjoy working together in social and fundraising activities. In September 2023 we were awarded a Bronze Eco Church award.  Our special events and Sunday services are advertised in the Copt Oak Inn and local magazines. If you would like to join us at any of these we would be delighted to welcome you.
